What exactly is vinyl lettering?
Vinyl lettering is pre-spaced, pre-cut letters in the font and color of your choice. The vinyl is the equivalent to 2-3 layers of paint, giving it the hand painted and homemade style you're looking for. Feel free to cut between words and phrases if you want an even more creative and unique layout. Lettering will arrive between a backing paper and transfer/application tape. When time comes to apply your lettering, easily remove the backing paper so the lettering remains on the application tape. Stick your vinyl lettering in its desired location, press firmly, and peel application tape away.
Can I customize my own lettering?
Of course! Navigate to our custom lettering page and experiment with our preview tool. You can choose from several fonts, sizes, colors, and phrases to say what you want to say! You can even use our background color display to help imagine your vinyl against a particular color. This is the best part of vinyl lettering--creating your own decor that makes you unique. Most importantly, make vinyl lettering your own!
Are there surfaces where vinyl lettering won't stick?
Vinyl sticks to any clean, hard, and smooth surface: walls, wood, windows, metal, glass, ceramic tile, etc. However, it does not stick well to bumpy or soft surfaces such as brick or fabric.
Is the lettering removeable and can I reuse it?
The lettering can often be removed with your fingernails or tweezers. If it becomes stubborn, simply heat the vinyl up with a blow dryer on a low setting. The vinyl will come up more easily now. If residue is left behind, use Goo-Be-Gone or rubbing alcohol to remove the leftovers.
Vinyl lettering is not reuseable.
How do I determine the height of the lettering?
We determine the height of the lettering from the top of the tallest letter (capital B) to the bottom of the lowest letter (lower case j). Keep this in mind as you choose font size, because not all letters will be the same size.
How long does it take for an order to process?
Orders are generally processed in 2-3 business days and then shipped out Priority Mail.
Can I pick up my order?
Sure! If you live in the area, feel free to pick up your order to save on shipping costs. Once you receive the email confirming your order is complete, just stop on by!
What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards through PayPal's online credit card processing. If you choose to pick up your order, cash or check is accepted.
What is your return policy?
If the lettering isn't exactly what you wanted, simply email us the reason, send back the vinyl, and we will offer you instore credit. All returns must be made within 14 days when the order was made. 10% restocking fee may apply on custom orders.
